Summer 2025 Exhibition
Our Summer Exhibition of member's artwork was held at the Guildhall, Lichfield in June.
Attendance over the three days was excellent, helped by warm and dry weather, with nearly 850 visitors recorded. Many of these visitors purchased exhibited ceramics, paintings and mixed media with a sticker price total of over £970.
The exhibition was opened by local historian and tour guide Jono Oates.
Renowned international artist Ian van Zyl judged our artwork and awards were given as detailed below:
- John Sanders Award for Best Artwork in Show went to Anthony Reeves for "Regatta Aberdovey".
- Eilidh Barnardo Award for Drawing went to Sue Brindley for "Winter Study on the Patio Table 1".
- Daphne Gick Award for The Natural World went to Pat Brennan for "Bullfinch".
