On 26th April 2025 Jeni Neale held a flower painting workshop. 

Daffodils present two main challenges: depicting a trumpet-shaped flower against a flat whorl of petals and painting shadows whilst preserving vibrant yellows. Jeni guided the attendees through each stage of the process via group and individual instruction. The group also delved into techniques for painting realistic water droplets on the leaves, emphasising shading, highlights and the interaction of light and shadow.
